Kobie brings decades of hands-on winemaking experience, honed at some of the Western Cape’s most prestigious estates. Faisal, who helped shape the South African wine industry in the years following the political changes of 1994, created the Moerbei label together with his family.

Together, we’ve built Moerbei into what it is today — a distinctive collection of fruit-driven wines, known for their mouthfeel, length, and balance. Crafted with care, instinct, and a shared respect among everyone involved, Moerbei is the result of a partnership that stretches from winemaker and entrepreneur to cellar workers, farmers, and distributors.
